How Can I Edit My Offline Time After Entering It?

Why is my only option to delete???

Sometimes I make an error in my note, or a typo.

Sometimes I note activities completed earlier in the day in the pop-up prompt for convenience and memory in the moment, and want to go back later and cut and paste that text into another block of time.

Sometimes RescueTime logs an inaccurate time frame when tracking my offline activity (for instance, due to keyboard taps here and there, my computer isn’t always idle when I am working on writing by hand, for instance).

At any rate, I’d like to be able to edit my offline time after it is entered.

I love RescueTime, but this functionality is a no-brainer.

Also, on the offline tracking page, not being able to read all of the activities entered for a short time frame is also problematic, because I can’t see my notes to know what to re-type in another time block, if necessary, and then re-type the correct ones for that time block (because I have to delete the entire block since I can’t edit it).

I don’t think it’s possible to edit logged offline time, but I think it would be useful, same with being able to add more details. The offline activity page doesn’t allow for editing and neither does the activity itself. :frowning:

I understand not being able to edit tracked digital activities, but since offline time is manually entered, it makes more sense to be able to manually change it when we get things wrong.

You can add in more time on the offline time tracker though; I have the same issue where my computer doesn’t go inactive at the same time I go offline when writing by hand, so I sometimes fill in the gaps.

And larger blocks have the sliding scale to change the start and end times:

Mine is in 5-minute increments, which I think is the default, while my inactivity pop-up is set to 10 minutes. The delete option is a little odd because it looks like it will delete the 5-minute increment, but it can extend past that.
