Hi everyone,
We’ve been working on some big improvements to RescueTime for iOS, and we’re excited to share a set of new features designed to make tracking and managing your time faster, simpler, and more visible throughout your day.
Here’s what’s new:
Widgets
Your productivity, right on your home screen. You can now add RescueTime widgets to instantly access features or view your progress.
-
Start a Focus Session or Timer with a single tap
-
View your Productivity Pulse at a glance
-
See your live Focus Work total for the day
It’s a quick snapshot of your day, always visible and ready when you are.
Timer
Track time more intentionally. Timers make it easy to focus on specific tasks and build repeatable workflows:
-
Track time on a specific project
-
Create and reuse saved timers for recurring work
-
Start tracking in seconds whenever you need structure
Perfect for deep work, admin tasks, or anything you want to measure more deliberately.
Improved activity tracking
See your day unfold in real time. The updated Activity tab lets you:
-
See all of today’s iOS activity in one place
-
Categorize activity with a quick tap
-
View your desktop activity alongside mobile activity
-
Organize and understand your day as it happens
This makes it easier to keep your data accurate, whether you’re working from your phone, your computer, or both.
These updates are all about giving you faster access, clearer visibility, and less friction throughout your day. As always, we’d love to hear what you think once you’ve had a chance to try them out.
Thanks for being part of the RescueTime community!
