RescueTime is automatically sending me notifications with a red dot on the menu bar icon.
I can’t see any way to disable this in my alerts settings. Just paid for RescueTime premium because I love the automatic time tracking. But if there’s no way to disable the red dot, then I might have to stop using it because it’s too annoying 
I don’t understand why an app that’s purpose is to improve focus would have mandatory notifications with a distracting red dot.

Thanks for the feedback - it’s a good point. I discussed it with our dev team and we will include a way to disable badges in a future release. In the meantime, I would encourage you to open Account Settings → Focus Settings and disable Assistant Coaching, and also make sure “Alert me about upcoming focus zones” is turned off. If those are on, they will generate a lot of noise in your assistant feed (some folks want those types of active reminders as guardrails).
