So many bugs, where do I start

I really like rescuetime, however it is currently the by far buggiest application I own out of about 30 apps I run daily. I have a normal windows 11 pc, all drivers updates, latest windows. Intel i9, GeForce 4070, 32gb ram, 2tb

  • Spotify when you select a playlist nothing happens nothing launches
  • sometimes when focus time finishes the desktop app minimizes into a 1 inch box with only minimize and close controls have to quit and restart app
  • about 50% of the time when focus time finishes a blue endless spinning wheel and backscreen
  • about 50% when finished focus time doesn’t increase when using the red quick focus button
  • when finishing focus time in the first screen it says 0 hours focused, then when I say okay and go to main screen it updates my focus time
  • if you click through too fast to next step in focus with audio helper on they start talking over eachother
  • if you shut your computer off in sleep or hibernate and open rescuetime it breaks and doesn’t maximize gets stuck in a minimized state need to restart
  • random try icon freezes at times where clicking it does nothing

I have tried, deleting/reinstalling.

  • Please ensure you are logged into Spotify from your desktop.
  • Regarding issues with FocusTime, we need to look into your account to investigate.
  • Focus Now (red button on the Assistant) was not designed to increase length of time. It was designed to skip the Focus Session prep and take you right into a Focus Session.
  • Narration/slide speed can be improved here
  • Could you clarify the minimize state?
  • Could you clarify what you mean by “try icon”?
