What's in your feature wishlist?

Please any information about this?

I like the Daily Highlights feature-- it’s one thing that I use often to keep track of my weekly accomplishments & victories. I would like this to be a click away on the RescueTime assistant on my macOS toolbar. Right now I need to wait for it to pop up after 2 hour of productive time, but sometimes I want to write down an accomplishment or milestone outside of those windows.

Also on the topic of Highlights—

I really like how the GitHub integration shows Highlights in your timesheets. These are really useful for accurately associating time with projects.

(Correct me if those aren’t technically “Highlights”, but something else)

With the API, you can programmically create Highlights, but they do not show up in the timesheets view. It would be nice for highlights that are added for a specific time of day, to be shown in the timesheets view.

My use-case: I added other services like GitLab (they’re a GitHub alternative), but those highlights only get listed in the dashboard view, you don’t see them in the timesheets UI.

Adding to topic of highlights, I just discovered this feature and want to use it daily-- one thing that is confusing is how gray everything is? It almost all looks “disabled”

Hi!

I have observed a generalized lack of activity in the RT community and bug tracker.

How are you doing, guys? Everything is ok?

Best.

One small QoL improvement I’d love with timesheets is if the calendar view showed which days are “Finalized”. I don’t do this daily, I do it every week or so. There’s no way to see which days of the month have been finalized, other than to just look at each day one-by-one.

I imagine a lock icon or some sort of color coding would be really nice.

Thanks, Chris! This is a great suggestion! We will think about how to work finalization status into the experience.

Hi Chris,

I will talk to the team about this… this is a good suggestion. It’s definitely more relevant for API-generated highlights as the time element is the important context for timesheets,

Thanks!
